For me it's liquidity, international appeal and clarity around their value. I see it more as an emergency resource than a conventional investment, so the ability to sell or exchange them for value most easily (while retaining CGT exemption) is more important to me than obtaining exposure to gold at the lowest possible premium. So, though I also have some sovs and a 1/2oz Brit, I'm now focussing on modern 1oz and 1/4oz Brits. This is also why I buy only 2021+ with the security features - increases the chance of being able to trade one with someone who isn't familiar with the coin but can look up the details and verification techniques online.

I have started to take a closer view of industry rates to ensure Auronum's website prices are as competitive as possible. From feedback I have seen on the forums Tavex and Chards seem to be the companies with the most competitive prices, so I used them to benchmark the most popular gold and silver bullion products.
I was a little surprised to see that Auronum has better buyback and selling rates across the board on these popular products. Maybe we should do a price guarantee that we will update our prices if we are not the most competitive against the established dealers, what do you guys think?

Have a look on the Buy & Sell section. Check on sold items to get an idea of prices compare to dealers.
If you're serious about adding Britannias and gold Sovereigns to your collection through TSF - where prices are normally lower than those of dealers, then I suggest paying for Silver Membership. This will enable you to view sales listings immediately. Otherwise, as a non-premium member you will only get to see new sales listings after 72hours. By which time, any good deals would have long gone.
