This is odd???
haven’t tried to buy as I’m broke
I'm also surprised that the price is cheaper than the 10oz celebration bars. I thought since it a newer releases, it be more expensive on the premium side.

Well what I want to know if there a mintage limit or is that going to be an unlimited mintage. My eyes is looking at the 100oz if there a mintage limit.

They are a completely separate beast. There will only be one of each sold to the public and they aren't actually coins.
Some of them also have coin designs and sizes that were never sold to the public.
Oh I thought they were trial piece that they hallmark to just auction off
-
I'm wondering if the trial pieces from auction with the hallmarks are worth it or that just the same as a normal trial coin that the mint sell without the hallmark.

Hi Jason. If you want to know more then go back to the 3rd post on page 1 of this topic. Richatthecroft has provided a photo of a page which lists them.
Ok thanks

I wondering if they keep this up will the SOTD sovereign become less popular. So far I can only think of 3 SOTD sovereign that worth collecting.
The Coronation SOTD sovereign
SOTD platinum julibee sovereign
2017 200th year SOTD Sovereign.
I don't know all the sotd sovereign but seem most of them are just struck on someone birth/birthday 🤔.

What are you saving your money for from the upcoming Royal Mint releases?
New Una & The Lion
US & RM Britannia/Liberty Colab
Pistrucci Great Engravers
2024 Individual Derivitive coins
I'm hoping to pick up one of each but I doubt I have the fund capacity to do so!
Priority wise I have Pstrucci at the top of the list! Not sure about the rest
For me I'm only want the Una and the Lion but that depends on the design. Was legit looking to get one from ebay. I was also planning to get myself a 1 kilo queen beast completer coin but look like my money going to be going to the Una and the Lion

... for me with growing premiums +VAT means my Silver purchases from a "shop" are more about buying things I like and no longer about the 'Investment' or base value of the metal.
Prices these days mean high premium bars such at this one cater much more for the the Retail buyer, who won’t understand or care about terms like 'bullion'. They pay higher prices and should get a pristine product. It's not like there is an alternative Proof bar afterall.
For the modern buyer, certainly for those making a pickup's in the likes of Costco, the experience should be just like buying a TV, its not acceptable to say yeah well its dented, but doesnt matter becuase its a lower end TV. It makes being the middleman retailer aweful, but that is simply the reality with premiums these days and not showing the customer what they will get, instead they are shown a glossy slick looking bar online, but recieve something else.
That said @jason94151, honestly the damage doesnt look that bad to me. I would be far more annoyed if purchasing in the retail blister - becuase that really is a 'retail product' and not a bullion investment. But like i said, it really depends on what you paid, and what you intend to do with this bar (i.e. display it? etc)
Yea was planning to found like a case for it and put it for display, I really like the design. Sadly it didn't have a serial number on the bar.

Try sending it back and either replacement, money back or something else to same value🤔
Currently sent a complaint to see what can be happen but most likely not going to have a replacement since I bought the last one. If I try getting a refund going to loss money since I gotta pay for shipping and pay a 4% restock fee since I used a credit card.

As far as I know mate and others will correct me if I am wrong, there is no defense against milk spotting.
I guess I should delay the milk spot as long as possible.

Yep, heard "It's Bullion" dozens of times for dented or milked coins... to which I quite often have to reply exactly... Bullion not scrap
But damage here isnt too bad and really depends on whether you can live with it and what you paid
Lol can't really say I have a choice since I bought it from a dealer instead from the royal mint, also I bought this when it had one left in stock so most likely this was a return from someone else.
Now I'm wondering if it better to get myself a case for this or just leave it in the vyinal wrap. Mostly worry of it milkspotting over time since I don't really trust royal mint quality control.

So the US Mint will release the silver and gold on February 8th! And they have the images on their website already.
When is the release by the Royal Mint?
Sadly the silver going to be a medal instead of a silver coin and it a pre-order. I feel like either the royal mint will also do a pre order on the same date or they will sell it once they create a batch of it.

Best place for storing valuable coins is under floorboards but let close family know where they fcukin are.
Easy for you to access and what burglar is going to start ripping up floorboards ?
Why pay monthly etc for safety deposit boxes get your dosh paid monthly to the forum and lock up more deals 👍🏻
Since I live in the USA, I'm more likely to have my floorboards filled of bullets holes if there is a (armed)burglar.
I don't want my silver/gold full of bullets holes.

Fine line between leaving very expensive items out for all and sundry and having some nice bits out on display. Buy, get delivered, see for a few minutes, lock away!🤔😮🙁
Well for me I normally just display my coins mostly kilo silver and gold coins that weight less than 1/4oz or near the limit of what my insurance going to cover for gold/silver. The rest goes to my safe or vault.

What's the point of a beautiful thing if you can't casually gaze at it when you pass by. It is a real joy to see my small coin collection all shiny and glinting. I'm sure once the novelty wears of and I get more coins I will probably put them away but keep one out on a rotating basis so I can still enjoy them.
Yup that why I have it out in my bed headboard shelf just so that I can look and enjoy it before I go to sleep. I feel like coins with presentation box's (mostly proofs) are meant to be display especially the 1kilo silver coin.

I display my stackers only... on a shelf in my man cave, if I have contractors in i hide them away
Yea I also hide my coins when I know there strangers or people I'm not too familiar with coming over.

My gold goes into a safety deposit box, if its a recent purchase it will be in my safe, I do not display any gold at all.
For my proofs I keep the boxes in a cupboard and put the coins in their capsules into tubes for storage at the SDB.Silver I do have a display of the more interesting coins/bars/pours I have in a cabinet in my office, but not to a value that would hurt should it get stolen.
Well I will say that having silver, gold out for display can be risky(especially gold) but I guess i also feel it depends on where you live. For example if you lived in a gated community and/or if you have guns in your house or if you have dogs then I feel like it safer to display it.

Well the stock photos change from "coming soon" to "new" so I'm guessing it officially out now.
