  1. I have a large number of old stock uncirculated pennies, dated 1967, in Sandhill tubes. The photo is representative of condition only, I have many, many more! They're not all 'mint' having been in storage for at least 55 years! Price per tube of 50 coins is £7 plus postage of £3.49 for up to three tubes, larger quantities will be dearer due to the weight.
  2. It may have been smuggled out, erm... internally...

  6. I can't imagine me buying directly from the Royal Mint ever again, (unless they make a pricing mistake!). Their poor attitude towards garbage quality bullion has seen to that. They've gone from pride of the nation to laughing stock of the world. VERY poor quality at exhorbitant prices.
  7. Absolutely. Take for example the people that deal in silver (as in tableware, ornaments etc, not coins or bullion) They have a price they pay and a price they sell for. They don't re-label all their stock for each antiques fair they attend depending on spot!
  8. What a great idea, so only the thickness alters. I normally don't like high premium stuff but that's made me want some!
  9. Do these still stack together despite the three different weights?
  10. Thank you, the advice is appreciated. I thought there was no Vat on used goods, only new. Obviously this is not the case. Scoundrels!

  13. I hope I don't annoy anyone too much by hi-jacking this thread. I've just bought a used watch from Japan, and DHL are trying to charge me 20% Vat. Is this correct, and if not, what can I do about it? I paid £334, and the DHL charge is £58 import duty & Vat.
  14. I assume you use a mobile app then? If you're using their website then you must surely have experience the same problem?
