  1. No itโ€™s ok, Iโ€™ll stick to #13 and let you take #17 - Iโ€™m not very superstitious really ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Thanks for offering though!! ๐Ÿ‘
  2. What an amazing thing to organise, very impressed ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™ looks like Iโ€™m unlucky number #13 then ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  3. A nice 1927 Pretoria sovereign arrived in the post today, thanks @KevjustKev ! It's old and well-travelled, just like me.. ๐Ÿคฃ
  4. And also should be listed in the EU trade section if you are selling / shipping from Italy ๐Ÿ‘ You can ask one of the Mods to move it for you I think?
  5. Ack! You're right, there does indeed seem to be a loophole under the regs for 'fluctuations in the markets'... Still unfair I think, as a milked product is sub-standard by pretty much anyones definition...
  6. Oh, you tease... go on then! I'll PM you ๐Ÿ‘
  7. Yep, Distance Selling Regulations apply (https://www.gov.uk/online-and-distance-selling-for-businesses), as long as you spend at least ยฃ42 (random, I know), so you have plenty of legislative cancellation / return rights, even if they say you don't!
  8. Mine are still apparently stuck in 'processing order' status, so you're a lucky duck!! ๐Ÿ˜‰
  9. Thank you, that makes sense! Tiny quantities of โ€˜impuritiesโ€™ but enough to matter then!
  10. Thank you ๐Ÿ™ Iโ€™m guessing that the 1 part out of 10,000 (in a four nines coin) is whatโ€™s causing it then, whether thatโ€™s copper or silver. I donโ€™t mind copper spots myself - a bit of character!
  11. Iโ€™m confused on this subjectโ€ฆ I always thought that copper spots were essentially an โ€˜unmixedโ€™ portion of copper inside an alloyed gold coin (i.e. less than 24k) - doesnโ€™t affect the coin value particularly, as I understand it. Sometimes they are spots, but also sometimes stripes / smears if the copper was smooshed about during rolling etc. However, thereโ€™s a sales thread currently up that has pretty big copper spots on some Queens beasts coins, which are four 9โ€™s purity, so how do they end up with copper spots if thereโ€™s no copper in the coin to begin with? Am I missing something in my understanding? Just looking to learn here ๐Ÿ‘ Thanks!

    Yes please, PM sent ๐Ÿ‘
  13. I wish! That would make the silver bar about 50kg I reckon ๐Ÿ˜‚ Heโ€™s a little Hermannโ€˜s ๐Ÿ‘
  14. Yes, but he always refuses to shell out for the bill ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  15. Postie dropped off this little chunk of silver today, courtesy of @iacabu Tortoise is for scale only and wasnโ€™t included in the purchase ๐Ÿ˜‚
  16. Ah, go on then ๐Ÿ‘ Iโ€™ll DMโ€ฆ
  17. A couple more 10oz bars added to the collection today - Nadir bars courtesy of @theman73 These are lovely in the hand and feel like a decent size for 10oz-ers. Nice ripples on one of them as well๐Ÿ‘
  18. Never seen these before either (I don't get out much to be fair). Just curious - are they the same diameter as the 1oz maples and a bit thicker, or are they a larger diameter?
  19. I definitely am! Just bad timing, as the tax man has me in a very passionate embrace this month and my hands canโ€™t reach my pockets (didnโ€™t even buy me a drink first, cheeky so and so ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚). Hopefully Iโ€™ll get another chance next month ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ‘
  20. Another lovely sovereign in todays post to add to the collection - from @AdamDutton - a 1918 Bombay mint. Thanks Adam!
  21. Nice little cast bar received today from @arphethean - I do love cast bars ๐Ÿ˜
  22. Ditto to the previous comments - you can deal with confidence with @COBRASTACKER ๐Ÿ‘ Nice bar by the way ๐Ÿ˜
  23. I'll PM you in a mo ๐Ÿ‘
  24. Sunday bump and price reduction for the remaining Riverbank ripple bar
