Just looking at FTSE100, looks to be on the edge of a cliff, similar levels to just before the March 2020 crash with downward momentum. In gold we trust!

And USA not woken up yet.

Keeping mine as everything else is OK, bit disappointing to get one with frosting issues but half expected it to be a common thing with a design like this.

Frosting issues on my Half Sovereign, can see when zoomed in with a rubbish phone camera... bit harder to see with the naked eye.

You can see a similar thing in the photo I posted for the memorial half, I'm new to proof coins so no idea if this is a common thing. No scratches on the coin though.

Had this exact thought recently about Mr Beast doing a video about gold, he likes to give away cash like it's going out of fashion.

Been selling some old video games myself recently, a lot of them I bought many years ago for next to nothing £2-£3 and now selling for £10-£15. A few of them have been £20-£40, selling all the ones I don't care for / sub par condition and keep the good ones. Have been topping up with other games that are cheap & available atm for the next wave.

Logged into my pension account recently to see that my completely cash balance is receiving interest of around 3%, paid monthly. This is with Vanguard, hard to find info from their website but it seems they are following the BOE rates. I was surprised, expected them to be paying nothing at all for cash just sat there. Yes still losing to inflation of course, but I'd rather not be invested in anything to do with stocks / bonds for a while. Can't touch it anyway for 20+ years.

Anyone had an update on the Hogwarts express coin? BBP were supposed to get stock by now, I guess the postal strikes have affected them. EDIT - Just seen they have arrived in stock now at BBP, so should arrive soon.

From what I understand the main selling point of these platforms is a low fee (or lack of), with the downside being that shares are wholly owned by them and you are just buying & selling contracts based on them, as you say.
