  1. Along with the stock market, crypto and classic cars, toys like Pokémon and Lego have done well in the era of massive QE since the 2008 financial crisis. I bought some Nintendo Amiibo toy figures for £140 five years ago and they have doubled in value in that time. However I think that going forward real things which are real world useful like commodities and PMs will do better over the next ten years.
  2. The Jubilee Sovereign – Yes! The Memorial Sovereign – Yes! The Charles III Coronation Sovereign – Sorry no I’m just not interested in this one at all. I’ll be buying regular 'best value' Sovereigns from now on.

  5. When the banks collapse restrictions on access to your currency could change very quickly. Just because they give you instant access today does not mean they will tomorrow.
  6. Whow there she blows! £1,659.59
  7. This is either as high or almost as high as rates can go and they will have pivot at some point but that is probably going to be several months away yet. They haven't caused enough damage to economy yet to slow inflation so they will need to hold interest rates here for a good while longer before pivoting. My guess would be at least late Q3 or early Q4 before they start dropping rates again.
  8. The term ‘cost of living crisis’ is misleading people. A ‘currency debasement crisis’ is a more accurate term do describe it.
  9. I wouldn't count on intrest rates coming down any time soon. 🙁

  12. Stack silver bullets. That way you're prepared for either an economic collapse or wearwolves.
  13. Out of interest what would you consider 'the moon' to be? £2,000? £20,000? £2,000,000,000?
  14. It all about priorities. Before you start stacking gold and silver you should have at least two to three months worth of food stored and a few camping style water filters. This should be enough to see you through most emergencies which last for a few weeks or months. Also worthy of consideration in case of a more prolonged emergency are: - Tools and knowledge to grow your own food with. - Tools to chop firewood with. - A large ferro rod and striker capable of starting thousands of fires. - Learn how to make a 'rocket stove' (cook efficiently using very little firewood). - Learn how to make a water filter using common everyday readily available items.
