  1. I think if something is going to start to happen with gold or silver, it'll be from January 2022 onwards, when parts of basel III are implemented and the paper market starts to taper, which I think the UK has more control over. End of June, nah! More likely to be 6/7 months later, which may kick off and continue with small increments, which aren't very noticeable, slightly higher highs and slightly higher lows from that point, but heading upwards overall, at a turtle's pace, not like a hare (Bitcoin).
  2. Sorry, I should have been more specific, I believe 2033 is the date when the bull market that we're definitely in with gold tapers (100 years since 1933 or there abouts). Silver seems to follow gold but who knows when the artificial price (spot price) will be more towards its true price. To me, a bull market isn't just about price going up, it's also includes other factors. To me, the price of gold or silver going up, doesn't necessarily indicate more silver or gold is being bought and this is the only factor.
  3. I've wondered this for a few years now too and I don't think we had these weights in gold as well as silver? To me, this is one of a number of signals that I've picked up on and I think it tells me that we're in a bull market and at the end of it, we'll all look back and understand why RM minted so many coins and so many weights... Opportunities are here now. Only a certain amount of PM's will be released to the public. Buy what you can.
  4. Based on the replacement of fatty diets with high carb and high sugar diet across the world, we're all on the path to diabetes and much unhealthier lives. The pharmaceutical companies are rolling in the cash that make the insulin. Highly recommend watching Dr. Eric Berg DC. Search for 'insulin resistance' under his name on YouTube. Very informative and contracdictive methods, on how to reverse type 2 diabetes or pre diabetic phase, compared to 'standard practises'. Cut out carbs, sugar and other food types and explains why and what happens to your body when you do this and what to eat instead. Makes total sense. Even has a video on how to reverse eye sight problems, which also make total sense. Has over 5 million subscribers.
  5. Basel III UK implementation January 2022. Indicates gold price increase. Bank of International Settlements (BIS) holding vast amounts of gold. Sounds like policy kicking in for a new baseline price...
  6. It was very recent, I asked for restoration on some coins, but couldn't use the vouchers for restoration, so had to make a decision and decided that coins weren't getting restoration and used the vouchers instead. All vouchers will be used after latest submission, so I can use restoration service from now on.
  7. If you do choose to go with PCGS, just to make you aware regarding the 3 membership options; 1) Silver membership have no vouchers included and is $69. 2) Gold membership have 4 x vouchers at $149. 3) Platinum membership have 8 x vouchers at $249. With the vouchers, you can't use them for the restoration service, so if you need restoration service, then the Silver membership may be the best option for you. I don't think you can submit a mixture of coins that would use the vouchers AND request the restoration service for other coins in your submission that aren't using the vouchers. Once your vouchers are used, you can then request the restoration service for subsequent submissions. If you download the app to your phone, you can easily track your submission. I've got a 2021 gold proof sovereign that's been graded and it's just going through the imaging, encapsulation and final grade checking before it's shipped back to me. Fingers crossed for a PR70! 🤞
  8. That'll be the standard holder. Sucks!
  9. If everything goes to plan, with PCGS, it's about 4 weeks. Think it's about the same with NGC, but someone who has recently graded with NGC may be able to provide you with an up-to-date answer?
  10. The 3rd James Bond quarter oz gold coin back from grading and.... yay, PR70! 😍 Shaken, not stirred! Shame my tuxedo doesn't fit anymore 😅
  11. You may have done this already, but if you click on the image, it'll download a higher resolution of the image and then you can zoom in closer to get a better look. Edit: Click on the image again and it should open an even larger resolution and you can get an even closer look 👀
  12. Nice coin! Really like the ripped effect around 'The Who'. It looks like extra frosting but interestingly, it looks like a pin ball flipper! I'd keep that one. Is extra frosting better than missing frosting? 🤔
  13. Also, you have to pay extra for the scratch resistant holders at NGC, plus all the coins that you submit need to be in that tier for a scratch resistant holder, otherwise, you won't get one. With PCGS, they're already scratch resistant as standard.
  14. I think it comes down to individual preference. For me, I grade with PCGS, as I like the holder and I personally think it shows the coin off better, but that's purely my opinion. NGC holders are nice and I wouldn't object to buying a coin that was graded by NGC, but to satisfy my OCD about labels, holders and being able to stack them on top of each other, I'd probably have to cross it over to PCGS 😅 If I were you, I'd just go with what you prefer and not let, what the majority do, cloud your decision. The fact that you're in two minds, tells me that you need to place an NGC holder and PCGS holder on the table, get a mate to mix them up and with your eyes closed, point either left or right to choose your destiny!! 🤣😅👍
  15. Thank you @Jamesd 😊 I agree. All 3 coins are nice, but this one is my favourite. I remember it in the film as a kid!
  16. Not the PR70 I was hoping for, but nevertheless, a respectable PR69! 😃 This coin wasn't sent for restoration, and looking at the high resolution images, I believe there's potential for an uplift in grade to PR70. I'll leave that for another day...
  17. £1,342... spot is slowly creeping up! 😜 Question is, will it come down again or are we on the road to a new baseline? If we are, I'd have a guess at £1,500.
  18. What's that I can see in the distance?? I really like this coin (not just because it's made of gold 😅) and so happy to receive a PR70! A closer inspection...
  19. Thank you for the mockup @katmonkey 👍😃 I thought it wouldn't work on a 1 oz coin. They'd probably have to resize the beasts and shields AND mint them on a larger coin for it to possibly work. Would be great though, to have the shields on there to replace the Queen's effigy, as we already have her on the obverse.
  20. I have some bullion in coins and bars, but mostly have proof coins. I'd be reluctant to sell the panda, I'm hoping to keep it. I don't grade bullion coins, but with this, I may make an exception at some point, as I really like it. Good luck with your panda collection!
  21. Of course, 30 gram, my bad 👍😊
  22. I have the 1 oz 2018 gold bullion panda. Love the design and finish for a bullion coin. Temple of heaven side of the coin has a proof finish in my view. If I was collecting gold bullion coins, I'd be very happy with the panda's 🐼
  23. I personally don't think more QB's will come out with privy marks and such like. If they did, I think the RM would not mint them with quite the same design, but possibly leaving out some important detail, but think they would attract attention for the original beasts that you have in your collection.
  24. I am a collector of the QB series and, even though I had 2 chances to pick a completer coin up, I didn't "feel it" enough to add it to my collection... but in saying that, I do like the coin. Who knows, I may change my mind in the future and regret it? From the perspective of a collector, I am pleased that the completer coin came out - let the dust settle a bit and possibly see some of those who have bought it (and some of those who wanted it but missed out) start to be interested in the individual collection. Sorry to be a little critical of the completer coin, but the beasts are only partly there on the coin and not in full, like the 10 individual coins. I know it's crowded on the table already and it would be even more crowded and possibly impossible to show this important detail on a 1 oz coin - but none of the beasts have their shields and their origins on the coin. If they did, I probably would have bought one and it probably would have come out in a larger size that would fit some or all of that, what I feel is important and significant, detail on. The coin does feel like an afterthought, but a nice afterthought by the RM.
  25. Okay, so it's somewhere between £330 and £550? I'll have a guess at £455 (1.4 * spot)? And nice coin BTW!
