Vintage Johnson Matthey London 1 kilo bar, lovely surprise when I came back from work and gym today, the bar has a three digit serial after looking on the allengelhard site they only have 4 and 5 digit serials so it might be super old! it also has a almost sparkly flakey finish you might be able to see in the pics. Any info is appreciated.

Very nice examples you’ve got there well done, thank you for the info I’ve just looked at mine and I’ve got one of each also, a few of mine are toned but I’m just happy to have them and I got them for quite a good deal so I’m smiling, am I right in thinking there minted in Canada because of the bull sign next to the big E?

Some more Vintage American bits through the door today, 7 x engelhard prospector rounds years 82-87, I’m not sure when they ran until but I’m sure a deep read on all engelhard website will tell me, awesome rounds I’m over the moon with can’t wait to deepen the engelhard stack, and a awesome 1890 Morgan dollar both items sourced from @screamingeagle thanks again buddy.
  16. 90% constitutional for me all day long filling tubes of dimes and quarters I’m slightly addicted and want buckets fall when I retire haha , As you both said it’s the crippling premiums some times what’s the hard part.

Super playing catch up due to some bad news before christmas, a flawless ms61 1873 (open 3) princess head $1 amazing coin only weighing 1.77g with a hefty premium but rare in this state and with quite a low mintage, thanks again to @screamingeagle some more awesome hand pour goodies from @LiquidMetalsUK And some fractional silver from stateside, and lastly some super fractional gold to add to my half filled Pamp box. hope everyone has been enjoying there break.

  22. Isn’t that one of the “£5000” Kew Gardens 50p?! i didn’t torture my coin myself I got it in a bulk deal, got a lovely half dime which is holed just needs to be a bit bigger.

  24. I’ve read this thread numerous times and didn’t contribute as I didn’t think I had a pocket piece but actually realised I do haha my pocket piece consists of a holed 1949 half dollar slung on my work keys. better late than never.
