  1. Sharps Pixely are quite underrated IMO. Rarely get mentioned to newbies, but they have a good selection with fair prices.
  2. All good tips. Want to leave a good impression for future sales, so good to hear from senior stackers. Thanks all
  3. I am looking to sell a tube of milky philarmonics soon, so would appreciate some advice on how best to package it for my first sale . What do you guys do when sending off a tube?
  4. Coins are more liquid than bars, some people like to hold the coin too, not quite the same in a blister pack. Britannia gold bars are nice, but if looking at it from an investment side, maybe buy a una and the lion/james bond bar which have the potential to appreciate more. 2021 Brits have the safety feature option over the bar too.
  5. Chards and Atkinsons have had the lowest prices on all the completer stuff recently. Best just waiting until they get stock imo instead of RM, I know atkinsons will have the 1kg soon and I'm sure Chards will follow suit.
  6. Paul speaks I listen
  7. If you buy 10 off atkinsons do you get a tube? Thats the USUAL deal, but its not listed this time...anybody know?
  8. A random morning when your not expecting....going off current experience
  9. I cant keep up lool
  10. Bought from them in the past. But, I try and stick to the main dealers, even if t means I’ll pay a little more, least I know I’ll get a good coin. Pay quality when you’re paying for your coins! I was guilty of buying as cheap as possible in the past, but when your paying a lot of £££ anyway AND it’s a mid-long hold, does the extra quid or two matter 🙈. Gold is gold at then end, long as you’re not paying extortionate or well above the “norm value” don’t worry about the extra couple quid. like belangp says we are conditioned to think of everything in €$£ hence our fixation about micro analysing our purchases.

  12. Was ready to put an order in for 20+ until I saw the VAT included price. Thought £20 what a bargain!
  13. Why does the guy who's giving him the low coin valuations seem so happy. LOL. The same guy also looks like how I'd picture you Mr backyard bullion lol, no offence of course!
  14. Silver saurus?!..fan of your content, even more so your stack😆
  15. Buy a sovereign a month using the lucky dip/best value option and you end up with a nice collection of coins that have numismatic value/decent premium at the end of the year. When I started stacking at the end of last year I thought about buying a different monarch every month. But by letting the dealer choose you get that anyway and its cheaper! Now I have a decent haul of sovs. Gillicks, Millenuim sovs, Specific year designs, all from the lucky dip! Tbf the miellenium sovs where chards minty coins but still I didnt specify a year.
  16. Tbf on the lucky dips I got a nice 2002 jubilee sov from Atkinsons and a Isle of man from Sharps Pixley. Both sell for a nice premium above spot, especially the isle of man.
