  1. This is correct, we ask customers to provide ID and proof of address if they order over £10,000 worth of bullion coins. The 5k limit quoted above is a recommendation only, but I understand the limit to be 10k whether this is in a single or witin multiple purchases. We keep these records as we are duty bound by the money laundering, fraud and terrorism regulations We do not ask for ID for items above 10k if they are classed as collectable coins, Eg if you purchase a rare coin for say £12000. No one should be offended if they are asked to provide proof of address and ID.
  2. We have been taking pre-orders on the BU and Piedfort for about 4 weeks now.
  3. We have a couple of the brand new 2023 Windrush Gold Proof 50p's available at just £1250 each. The mintage for these is just 75 and were all sold out by the Royal Mint on the morning of issue. lease PM me if you are interested as these are not vailable anywhere else at around the launch price.
  4. Just to let everyone know who purchased via this offer, that all coins will be dispatched on Monday, we are busy packing and receiving new batches daily from the Mint. Thanks to you all.
  5. Yes the Jubilee / memorial and the coronation sovereigns will coins that are sought after years from now. When you think how much sets such as the 1937 4 coin coronation set is worth @20k in good nick, and there was 5 and half thousand of them. The current sets are a 5th of that. Having said that RM is going to struggle now to keep sales going at anything like these levels, most of what is coming up is going to be mundane. Not everyone likes Sci-fi and Music legends with 2 first names 😜

  8. Good old RM, shut the front door but leave the back door wide open 😄
  9. But we did, they all sold out very quickly as they did at RM. This is exactly why we offer the opportunity to pre-order, and give advance notification to all our newsletter subscibers and previous buyers, and hopefully as with this issue on TSF as well
  10. Look how close our concept design is : No need to queue if you come to us 🙂
  11. Interesting question, I think that the RM learnt their lesson on this quite early on, the 2012 Paul Day SOTD is just the same as the BV sovereign, so you would not know. They must have realised this because they started making them slightly different. There are 2 SOTD's for 2015, both are bullion type but the obverse for George's birthday is JC and the one for Charlottes birth is IRB, incidentally if you want a 2015 dated JC bullion sovereign, they only exist as the George birthday SOTD. The 2017 speaks for itself as it basically the same as the proof but with a plain edge. From them they are matt finish, and they can be told apart from the privy mark just to the left of the date, in 2020 the VE Day 75th Anniversary sovereign has VE75 which tells it apart from the BREXIT sotd which has a portcullis as the privy mark.
  12. Yes includes the 2oz Gold which we had 2-3 wks ago, I did notice that the RM came back with more coins after launch and were quoting delivery times for them as far away as August, but we order ours in the 1st batch.
  13. Well the new sovereigns will be proof finish so they won't clash, but I have heard there is going to be a 75th Birthday SOTD sovereign for Charles in November. My guess is that it will look the almost the same but with the non-crowned Charles, otherwise you won't know the difference if it another matt proof.
  14. All gone, we just have a few of what we are showing on the website, the 1 kilo silvers are nice. I think we still have some 1oz silvers and £5 left.
  15. We have now had every coin from the Coronation Collection delivered to us, 2oz Silvers finally arrived last week, and the 1 kilo silver's arrived today earlier than expected. So anyone still wait for RM to send their coins out shouldn't waiting very long.
  16. Try Goddards Silver Dip, if anything can clean it without spoiling the coin that will.

  22. I did put this image on another thread, but this is what I understand the 2023 Proof sovereigns to look like. We are already taking pre-orders.
  23. Sometimes I wonder what it would have been like to have kept them all instead of selling them at Mint price, then watching them sell for double. 😢
