Its a fact..I'm not bothered to be honest....I talk to people on here and always get a reply..but this person who I realise is an important knowledable member in the PM world and respect what they say...but is it too much to expect a reply???? When I ask a question, no I don't think so...if I'm wrong so be it...I'm just saying how I feel and if i/we can't say what we feel and try and get knowledge and experience from those who know more..what's the point of asking questions to give people like me more information and what to look for in the big wide world of PM collecting...? Unless there is a hierarchy of giving out information to certain members?

It's a very nice set.....But with all the problems with the 2oz set mintage 300....its a gamble whether you get a "Proof set" with no scratches,milkspots etc....I would like to own one...but own one in "Proof condition" as advertised by the RM. I'd be on it likes Bee's on honey..but with the inferior products and quality control from the RM...I'd rather keep my cash and invest in some Gold or sovreigns...until the RM can sort out their quality of coins for the high prices they are offering..I'm keeping a wide berth from all proof sets from the RM..But that's just my opinion...... Yes..someone is selling a range of coins....brass layered with 22ct gold which is BS. VICTORIAN, GEORGE V,GEORGE III ETC...Although they are advertising as re-strikes they are not gold plated...but now some people are buying them and advertising as the real deal..I suspect they are from Wish/Alibaba....but they seem to be flooding ebay...and some poor sod is going to buy them thinking they have got a real bargain..😳😳🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙂🙂

Well I'm sorry to say....anyone ....experts or newbies cannot be fooled by these 1841 coins..they look like something that you get at Christmas..gold foil incapsulating chocolate...I hope as more and more are listed on ebay which I can see as its just a con.. by a certain seller...we can report them and get them cleared off the site or get the seller banned..we know they are fake but people new to collecting might not know..just hoping they do their research before bidding but if not..more fool them...again I hate seeing people ripped off but can't do anything if they decide to buy them thinking they are genuine 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

I agree with you..despite the negative feedback that comes across on this site from others..but that's just human nature..there are always going to be people who disagree with our comments on such things albeit not deserved..cest la vie..I personally ignore these people as they ,not all.... just a few who want to be negative and sometimes abusive...very easy to hide behind a phone screen and give abuse...but just ignore them as we all do....would love a personal one on one with some of these to determine how brave they are face to face..but that won't happen as these negative comments they dish out is their thing...and we are all entitled to our opinions...but would just like to see and speak to these negative self opionated jerks.. who give it the big un on here,on a one to one....

😡😡😡😡it's 50/50 the seller of these c**p,worthless coins has about 15 of these that they are selling...but its the buyer/buyers that are buying them and selling them as originals..they are both to blame and its only my moral belief that cannot name and shame the original seller but if this keeps up I will..I've contacted the seller asking them to delete these fake coins but so far I'm being ignored......😠😠😠😠😠

Let's face it..this seller has a few bats flying around his belfry, and a sandwich short of a picnic if he/she thinks they are going to make bundles of cash with these round objects....."can't call them sovreigns (Naturally) - they are going to be a tad disappointed. I reported the day I saw it being advertisedon Ebay...trouble is there are many more coins...I've attached some photos..obviously no one on here is going to fall for them but maybe if you know some newbies who are just starting out you can give them the heads up...the person selling them are describing the majority of them as gold plated re-strikes and I'm not including their name as technically they are not doing anything wrong..its the individual who may have bought a few and is now trying to pass them off as originals who is the criminal....

Or perhaps this person has many more of them..as I said before there is a person on ebay selling these for around £3.50 and seems to have quite a few on their (SELLERS OTHER ITEMS) list.... also they have decent feedback...which is curious maybe someone is buying them and trying to push them off as genuine...but you would have to come from a different planet if you think these are real😆😆😆 but one thing I've learnt in life there are some idiots out there and nothing surprises me anymore. Still don't like to see people getting ripped off even if they are complete Numptys🤪🤪🤪

Ebay now is just awful...saying that yes,you have a wide selection of good and bad items....but when it comes to PM's You have to be careful...very careful and know your stuff and know your sellers....Years ago when I joined Ebay in 1999 I don't think China had realised there was a site to sell their C#@P and fake items...but now we are overwhelmed with C@#P from China....ebay don't care about fakes although they always insist they are doing alot to stop people selling fakes on their site....BS in big buckets.....these Chinese factories that sell thousands of inferior products are money in the bank for Ebay so they will never delete their accounts..give them warnings..delete their items..fake,dangerous items especially electrical S#@T that you plug in and blows up and your going to be lucky if it doesn't send your hand flying across the room...but now and for years....the fake Gold n Silver Britannia's/ASE's,Pandas,Kooks etc are flooding Ebay more and more....for any newbies....Dont buy PM's from Ebay unless its from a reputable dealer with a very high feedback...even then its a gamble....Buy from the TSF or Bullion dealers here in the UK...and if your not sure..Google.. ask questions on here....but if you buy from Ebay and I'm talking Gold n Silver PM's....remember you might not receive what you was expecting....over n out..🙂🙂
