  1. Picked this up from Ngc yesterday 🥰. Not bad for nearly 70 years old. Hope I look that good at that age. FullSizeRender.mov FullSizeRender.mov
  2. Imho this £5 platinum piefort is a step above the ones which preceded it. Fabulous William iv design but also with special reverse, I’d be disappointed if it wasn’t setting highest prices in pf70
  3. We (UK) aren’t a great place to sell these coins. I dare say if platinum prices move up these coins will be appreciated more for low mintage size and if they are graded 70 they’re a sight to behold. the attached images are a sale at heritage on pf70 version of the coin rather than the Uk sale of pf69@richatthecroft posted. The selling price includes 20% bp but it’s over £6k. The other screenshots are from great collections where better prices can be achieved especially for attractive pf70 with low mintages pm me if you have any follow ups i have one of the 52
  4. Looks like there were some platinum proof 1oz available through mint marque. Very covert launch if one could call it that. Seems like many royal mint sales staff weren’t aware of it. one thing I’m interested in is where did the rest go. I very much doubt they were sold in the Uk as I’d have expected more gossip. Other than @goldhunteri hadn’t heard a jot until late last evening. I managed to get one this morning 🥳 So if anyone knows where they sold (rather than speculating) I’d be very interested. TIA Jaconet
  5. Recent grading results- The silver ones! It’s been a bigger submission than normal for me so I thought I’d give a shout out to Karl 1817 - The Modern Sovereign Collector for his help getting them graded. It’s taken a while to get them posted as I had the little matter of getting married last weekend 💒🥳. I think imho the design of the year is Gary Breeze design - 5oz silver QE2 95th Birthday. Glad to see that’s come back top pop. Anyone who hasn’t seen it up close, I’d recommend you do so. It’s a real standout. As I’ve mentioned to a few friends on the site, I think the diversity Britannia is great design too, perhaps second only to Gary Breezes above. It’s a coin which given its limited mintage and being the first 2oz silver Britannia, will be a key coin in the future...so I got a few. Many of which were bought from tsf members. Thanks for that 👍. Most came back 70 with a couple of 69s. I’ve posted just one for brevity. The other pics are of the two coin Britannia silver sets - the £2 silver reverse & proof Britannias. Im looking to pick up the reverses for 2016-2020, so if anyone wishes to sell theirs please get in touch. I’d also consider a swap should that be preferable. Anyway enjoy!
  6. I listed an interest on buy & sell for the 2008 platinum britannia set, but I thought I would double up and leave a note here aswell if anyone has the set and would be prepared to sell or perhaps know the whereabouts of a set not listed online or could help me locate a set, I would be grateful. Please pm me. regards jaconet
