  1. I’ve heard of these black spots/marks on other silver coins. I don’t believe it’s toning. It’s odd that it’s a small restricted space on the coin. Who knows it might conserve? I dare say some more expert silver collectors than me might know. as you say, it’s a great looking coin. At the price I think it’s a great buy for soneone.
  2. Hi there i have recently come across a Gothic Crown I put away some time ago. I’ve been having a spring clean, moving on those pieces I don’t collect, so I can focus just on my favoured collections. FYI, It was graded as PF70 with a black mark on the edge (at the time of grading). Ive attached NGC images from when it was graded, which are the first two below. The mark is at 2 o clock when looking at the reverse, 10 o clock on the obverse. Other than that mark on the edge the piece is top condition. I’ve also added images of mark in close up for full disclosure and although I don’t think it needs saying ….. it is sold as seen. i note the cheapest PF70 gothic crown on eBay is £400. I’m offering it at £200 posted. It comes with its box & coa. cheers
  3. I’ve split the set 2016-2019 £290 posted 2020/2021 £240 posted wiggle room for multiple coins
  4. No change in price but available until the end of the weekend
  5. I’m looking for a buyer of all six. But I will probably break the set up if they’re not taken by the weekend. if you are interested in one or more, you can message me. reverses on next page
  6. It’s ms62pl (top pop) but my impression is that conservatively graded. As you say the head dress & veil are well preserved as is the brooch. So I’m considering sending it for regrading.
  7. Bought a couple of interesting graded 1887 double sovereigns. Images below. the first is a very rare (R5) currency prooflike double (Marsh T24). The second the broken streamer variety of Marsh T26 (Scarce). The mintage of the former is estimated at 350 & you will see a number of differences to the conventional currency double, most visible is the positioning of the legend & BRITT in particular, the number of pearls on the crown & that the gap between the crown & rim. These differences were due to using a proof die on the obverse. Anyway enjoy
  8. Bargain price, no offers, one lot of four coins. TIA individual pics if required
  9. A nice coin with a nice lustre and great eye appeal. Three weeks ago at coin cabinet auction a ms66 sold for £1125 incl. BP. £485 posted looks good value compared to that imho & also given the modest number graded.
  10. Yes @Gordy sd post £380. Pm me your address & I’ll send you my details 👍
