Congrats Deadwood for your first purchase! Welcome to the club of part-time-collector / part-time-stacker.

I am now more collector than stacker....stacking got very boring very quickly.

As for the Britannias you purchased, which one is it? In 2015 alone, there's this version ( £50 for £50 ) (which I like very much):

    and there's this version:

Also, are you familiar with the 2014 silver proof Britannias as seen here?

In spite of the spot price of silver being below USD$14, I can not find the Elemetal Mint's American Landmark series 2 oz rounds being offered for less than $41-$42 shipped. Provident Metals has been sold out of both for a while.
With the release of the Liberty Island round (2nd in the series) and with the limited mintage of these American Landmark series rounds, I think this series is now unquestionably on the radar of many silver stackers and coin collectors. The quality is in a class well beyond a normal silver round.

That's the way these things happen fairly routinely. I recall a fairly sustained flurry of interest in and orders for the 2011 Xi-Shi Holding A Pearl medals back a couple or so years.
Some of the Chinese medals have very low mintages (comparatively with "low mintage" coins from mints like the RCM, RM, and PM) and so I think collectors and enthusiasts (as well as speculators I suppose) rush to get in on the action sooner rather than later....because later may be either none to buy, lower quality examples, or more expensive. It happened to me at least once where I hesitated and then a few weeks later, none were left and the couple that could be found were considerably more costly.
Even if the mintages aren't very low, some of the Chinese medals are just so awesome looking that it's hard to resist not ordering as soon a you find out about a release.

Too bad for the Details grades but MS70 Libertads are always worth cheering about!

I just purchased one of these remarkable bars myself and have not yet gotten around to taking pictures but indeed, in hand, it is truly exquisite and now stands as one of my favorite of all collectable items.

@Numistacker will have to explain how they come to the conclusion of " surface hairlines" as these coins looked amazing raw.

Today I received my 2006 silver proof Queens' 80th birthday coin that I won on ebay for just over £16.
On top of that in the post was a package with an ASE & a 2017 silver Britannia that I never ordered.
It was addressed to me but had the wrong house number on it. When I opened it there was a receipt with order status 'complete'. Now I then compared it to my recent order receipt from the same firm that had 'processed' in the order status. Duplicate order from Yorkshire bullion!
Me being me, I've tried ringing them but no response. I'll give them another ring in the morning. I could easily say nothing but they haven't done me a bad turn & have been pretty good with my orders.
