  1. 1958 Queen Elizabeth sovereign Price £379 Post of your choice available at 50% of cost. Apologies for photo quality (poor light), I can confirm the coin is a very nice example, very lustrous and problem free. Thanks for looking
  2. Check the postal label, it should reveal which post office was used to send the item and then contact the post office branch. They may have details of the time the item was processed and possible CCTV.
  3. In my experience, when dealers offer much lower than spot for such items, it is because they can quickly pass it off in the trade to another dealer and still make a decent profit.
  4. To add some context to my original post, most active buyers on the forum are very savvy with current precious metal prices. Therefore, you will find it very difficult to achieve a full retail price for generic bullion via this platform. In fact, I would argue most forum members would struggle to take you seriously when asking such prices. Used correctly, the forum can be a great tool to support your precious metals journey. Take care Rob
  5. Hi and welcome to the forum. I would recommend researching typical selling prices via the selling page, if you wish to make a sale. In the current market, these bars would typically sell for approx. £70-£75
  6. One of the regular shop dealers I use started trading in the early 2000's. I recall him telling me that when he first opened, his buy price for 1 0z .999 coins was approx. £4 and his selling price was £8 (double spot at the time). These days his spread on generic bullion coins tends to be approx. £5, so his margin has significantly decreased, although he sells far more these days. When I started stacking approx. 15 years ago, most of my purchases were from Sarnia Silver and I have receipts of libertads for around the £15-16 mark. Wish i could still pick them up for that price now.
