closed Full Sandhill tubes of 1967 BUNC pennies, UK

I have a large number of old stock uncirculated pennies, dated 1967, in Sandhill tubes. The photo is representative of condition only, I have many, many more!
They're not all 'mint' having been in storage for at least 55 years!

Price per tube of 50 coins is £7 plus postage of £3.49 for up to three tubes, larger quantities will be dearer due to the weight.

I know, mad isn't it, where the heck have they been? There was about 4,500 pennies, the tray weighed over 40 kilo's and almost killed me moving it!

Interesting so many of these exist. Seen them for sale elsewhere. Wonder why so many 1967 pennies are still about? Any ideas?  Special year for me!!

Well, all pennies minted from 1967 were dated 1967 regardless of the actual year. The 'New Pence' minted from 1971 of course. So that explains to a degree why there's so many of that date, but, why mint that many? that's another matter, no idea sorry. Probably a money making scam for the rich.
