Auction for a nice double florin. 

Obvious signs of cleaning/polishing

Good detail on both sides

There is evidence of being double struck, as hopefully you will see in the close up pictures of the obverse. 

 

End time - Sunday 28th January 2024, 21:59:59

Postage - post on top of the final bid. Recommend special delivery at £7

I'll say yes it's obvious to avoid any disappointment.

Holding it a foot from my face, the reverse looks OK by eye, until you look closely. 

The obverse is more obvious as the fields are larger.

Depends what you want to do with it. Pointless getting it graded, however, if you want one for part of a collection etc. it’s a great coin until you can find one in better condition.

What @Petra said really. It's nice in hand to look at. The reverse being better than the obverse, due to marks on her cheek (and generally being the nicer side of the coin design wise).

It just wouldn't grade.
