How’s it going, I’m pretty new to this but picked up a couple really pretty coins at spot the other day and was hoping someone could help me out with finding out more info and the value of this one - D1F6B4ED-A4CE-4173-A1BC-CD3D2EEA3B47.thumb.jpeg.441525bc174049eb3950140c536259f7.jpeg4B0ECFCE-D384-484E-BA96-9CEEA1A4686C.thumb.jpeg.8ac31c259571ab1508c97b024cd4a02c.jpeg2F1EC7F4-BE43-4555-8410-72723E1F3023.thumb.jpeg.5a6677f6991a433b285d1aa5ac39d278.jpegI can’t find anything online at its weight of 8g

thanks in advance

Don’t get confused with the great engravers Royal mint and other versions of the gothic coin .. Alderney, EIC etc. it’s also a similar size and gold content to a sovereign. Still a lovely design and a good buy at spot imo. But it’s unlikely to ever sell for much more than spot if you did try to resell in future.

Aaaahhh😉

Most of these weird Alderney, Gibraltar, TDC etc. sovereigns are worth little over spot, but I feel this one is an exception and could easily get 10% or more over.

It’s a lovely design. I have the EIC ounce version as it was the only way to get my hands on the design at the time. I never expected it to do any numbers but if it does in time I’d be happy.

Aaaahhh😉
