I suppose it's not for everyone but the diamond is worth more alone, single stone about 0.35ct, good clarity and colour, no carbon marks and marquise cut 

Be hard pushed to find a diamond if like this for the price is someone wanted to reset it for example in a different mount

I wish I had some idea what size N means. I would buy it but have no idea on ring sizes. When i bought the engagement ring, I had to steal one of her inherited rings to get the size.

N Tends to be in and around an average size for a female I think 

Off to the pawnbrokers later to weigh it in so see how that goes
