Next Great Engravers - Any inside info yet?

I think it was around this time last year that some of you folks with connections began hearing about the Petition Crown or the Reddite Crown as possible candidates for this year’s Great Engravers series.

So, any rumblings to be shared yet about what might be forthcoming for 2024? Unofficially? Off the grapevine? 😏

What a coincidence I was just thinking about the next Engravers coins and searched it and here I am

Possible contenders ?

1935 rocking horse Crown would be nice ?

Wyon's george & dragon would be lovely, but remember Royal Mint YouTube vid said it was the end of Wyon work in the series

Maybe a rare pattern Crown ?

  

or a five guinea pattern maybe ?

 

or reissue a much loved the modern classic ?

Those are indeed some lovely candidates in your previous post. I’ve always maintained that St. George and the Dragon could be its own series. (There’s also the 1910 Pattern Crown which used that motif.)

Yes you are right about the release schedules - they were all typically year-end. Though the Gothic Portrait was February 2022 (but that was the second half of the set).

And the Petition Crown was earlier this year in March.
