These are superb notes of gold foil, envisaged as an alternative form of currency and currently accepted by hundreds of businesses in various USA states: Utah, New Hampshire, Nevada, Wyoming, and new in September 2023 - South Dakota!

A very cool concept! I have most combinations of sizes and states in stock now. If you are interested in larger quantities further discount can be negotiated.

PLEASE NOTE: if you buy any South Dakota notes, all notes will be shipped together when they arrive at end of September, unless you pay postage twice.

PRE-ORDER closes 8pm on Sunday.

 

1 goldback contains 1/1000th ounce of .9999 gold - £5 each or all 5 states for £24

5 goldbacks contains 1/200th ounce - £20 each

10 goldbacks contains 1/100th ounce - £38 each

25 goldbacks contains 1/40th ounce - £90 each

50 goldbacks contains 1/20th ounce - £160 (PREORDER ONLY)

 

Postage will be extra:

Orders up to £25: £1 for 1st class 

Orders up to £100: £2 for 1st class signed for

Orders over £100: £2 for Special Delivery

Update, everyone!

Stock of South Dakotas has not arrived yet - I am expecting it in around 1 week but have requested a shipping update from my supplier.

NO PAYMENT WILL BE TAKEN UNTIL STOCK IS IN HAND.

I have checked stock and all outstanding requests and everyone who has commented or PM'd me has their notes reserved. 

I have still plenty of 1s to go around.

5s I will be all out - another order will be placed and that will arrive in ~two weeks.

10s I have one or two of each state.

Unfortunately my supplier doesn't sell these. The premium on them is crazy. People think goldbacks are expensive for the gold content. Silverbacks cost MORE THAN GOLD for the same weight of metal!!  They are pretty though.

For me to be interested to sell these the price is going to be £10 - £12 per note (1/1000th ounce) and I would need to know there are enough buyers for them to make it worthwhile making an order from a new supplier.

Shall I put up a poll to see what the interest is?
