Gold, Silver and CuNi proof or bunc

With the Royal Mint and probably many other national mints pumping out different coin series left right and centre I'm now fully limiting myself to what I buy due to quality and quantity and profit over customer service.

While I understand profit needs to be made, the sheer volume of coins produced and the time limits set by the mint to make them and the mintage figures increasing putting stress on the people making them quality has for sure taken a nose dive throughout the past few years. Do the mints care about new and of course returning customers, not really. Maybe a solution can be found pragmatically where reduction in numbers of coins made and coin series produced where quality can be raised and profits can still be made can be found. Until then...

From the Royal Mint will buy sovereigns only and the Great Engravers series, bullion and no more 50p coins unless they do a Thomas the Tank Engine.

US Mint 2023 Proof Morgan Dollars and reverse proof and Uncirculated set.

Anything else will be old coins pre decimal as I think I want to turn my attention to building a small watch collection.

I think I'm pretty much done with coins for now.

I agree with the above, but do not despair - there is life after RM sovereigns and other gold!

Have collected most things over the last 25 years, including Bank notes and watches.

Photo shows a proof cupro-nickel florin, BU Half Crown, a proof nickel-brass £2 and Gold & Silver 1oz bullion.

Oh,

I see a nice yacht master 2 tone. I will probably keep collecting bank notes as well.
