Hi all,

I have a dozen or so £5 coins that I am going to be getting rid of.

What's going to be my best option?  I doubt they have any real value but surely there is people out there who collects them.

Is there a go to place to give me an idea on individual values or places to sell, or is it going to be a case of doing 99p start auctions on ebay?

Many Thanks,

Chris.

Depending on the coin, I've been selling a lot of theses on ebay recently, some I have got £9 + post (minus the fees) others between £15/£20 and a lot more for rarer one's.

If they are the newer releases then no more than £15 I would say.

Thanks for the info.

Is there any way of knowing which ones are classed as the rarer ones??

I only know through looking at at ebay listings and past sales.

It's my late brother's collection that I'm still liquidating and he had a very big collection.

No problem at all and thank you, been 10 months and liquidating his collection over the last 6 months, he only collected base metal and even I was surprised at how much some of them fetch
