I picked this up on Atkinsons a couple of weeks ago. 

Silver proof 'lucky' penny from 2015, mintage (in this presentation of 2015) available free to any child who was born on the same day as Princess Charlotte.

There was a similar issue for Prince George. 

As a really nice, free keepsake it's a bit of a surprise that someone has sold it to Atkinsons for buttons, I paid £30, so presumably they paid no more than £15 for it. But there you go, I've never seen another for sale and £30 seemed cheap, so I bought it.

The presentation is really nice...

But why on earth would you put a QC sticker on the capsule of a proof coin!!!???

I was wondering if anyone else had seen/experienced any similar inexplicable examples of RM stupidity?

a little lighter fluid in some kitchen roll will remove the sticker and the residue 

or if you have a spray of tar/glue remove if you got it for your car

Obviously move the coin out of the way of the spray/fluid

ATK were selling off gold 1p 5p 10p and pound coins last week just checked all gone now 🤔
