Thoughts on this coin? Although a bullion coin, would this be worth picking up for an investment piece or would it be better to just buy a Maple?

Thanks

There is also a gold one:

Which is what I thought your were referring to because your title only said "2023 Royal Mint 1oz King Arthur Coin", without specifying the metal.

I only knew after I looked at the category: "Home  Precious Metals  Silver"

The silver ones are also OK:

I do have 2 of them and they are typical Royal Mint bullion quality, but the Robin Hood series was popular with the British public, if you have one they sell quickly around the £100 mark!

The 1oz Robin Hood and maid Marion coins are sold out on the Royal Mints website. They do have the little John coin though, looks really good!

Would love the 1oz gold coin but only just bought a 1/2 oz Britannia.

Good prices on chards. I must start looking at other sellers than my default of the royal mint!

If they're the same price as Brits, and you are buying anyway, can't really go too far wrong :)

Yeah they'll hold their bullion value regardless but any possible resale premium for being part of a semi collectable series is out the window.
