closed Wanted: 1984 Sovereign

Looking for a final year 2nd Portrait (Machin) 1984 full sovereign.

They only made proofs, but I'm not too fussed about the condition, as long as it's not totally wrecked.

Willing to pay up to £450 for a reasonable, mildly impaired proof.  Will consider better condition coins for sensible offers.

Thanks.

I can see now at Atkinsons available carded 1984 £5 for £2000. (@8.1% premium).

If this year is important for you and you have funds into your account, I think it is a good price.

Thanks for looking.

That page doesn't seem to exist any more.  Sold already?

Anyway, I have my sovereign, so I'm happy.  Although I do love a nice £5, I can't afford many of them!

Maybe someone will try to sell it to me, for a mark up.  🤣
