Probably a silly question

I'm a collector more than a stacker, my vote goes for buying whatever it is that pleases you, buy what you like.

I'd love to stack cheap bullion but I just can't do it.

I'm slowly approaching a £25 average, but to me my stack is gorgeous and a beautiful sight.

Anything could happen, your semi-numis might rocket in price or spot might go to the moon. It's all a gamble, enjoy the game.

Stacker since 2013

Some hold the theory of when spot price is low buy the cheapest possible and when spot is high buy premium silver.

The problem with that is who knows where the top and bottom is?  The more collectable coins can protect you against price swings.

I think we are in a great position right now to collect what ever you like.  It's all cheap (well, nearly all).

Stack what you like to look at.

If silver crashes you either have something you like to look at, or a reminder of a bad investment. ;)

IMHO, silver in any form is an excellent investment as long as it's physical and not paper based.

I agree with the replies in general, buy what you like, and if it all goes tits up you still have something you like to look at and can hold.

But also the flip side is while it is cheap, but it may get cheapeeeeeeerrrrrrr then buy the low cost coins, rounds, bars etc, and if silver flies up you can cash in.

I like the semi numis stuff especially the NGC slabbed coins but it would appear that not many people here do that, thats why its good to pick what you like. And I am looking to buy more very shortly!!

Physical silver as Tael says, not a piece of paper or some images on a computer screen. If you can't hold it you don't own it. :D

Enjoy it all...

decide on your exit strategy to determine what you want in. eg I've some

lunar dragon rounds from goldline, if the silver price goes up to the point

that I would sell, then I'll sell some to any that is intrigued by it's design, and

the rest back to goldline. semi numismatic coins are easier to sell to forum

members. for coins that you plan to buy and never sell, always buy what

you like or you'll probably end up regretting buying the cheaper one.

It's not a silly question, if you like pandas then fine just remember to keep receipts from bullion dealers this will help you sell the pandas on.  A good selection is what I go for.
