New Britannia Design Showing Solidarity with Ukraine?

Recommended Posts

While looking at the Wikipedia page about Ukraine a few days ago, I noticed their coat of arms was a trident:

Lesser Coat of Arms of Ukraine, the so called Tryzub. A stylised trident symbol in gold on a background shield of blue.

Which made me think it would be interesting to show Britannia holding a Ukrainian Tryzub (trident) instead of her traditional one:

While this is OK, it is perhaps too subtle, and too easy to miss, so:

I think that makes a visually stunning design, and would clearly signal British support and solidarity with Ukraine.

Somehow, I can't see the Royal Mint going ahead with it, though.
