Bump! and as you might have noticed from the photographs, I can confirm that there is, on the Reverse side of the 2 Sovereign there’s a patch of haze and on the Obverse some toning to the Queen’s portrait.

I believe- but nothing is certain in this world, these issues would easily be removed if the coin was resubmitted to NCS for conservation and re- grade by NGC.

It’s a lovely 2 Sovereign and they are getting harder and harder to source.

I believe I have reasonably priced the 2 Sovereign compared to its scarceness.

As you can check out on the NGC website the haze existed when it was first holdered- I bought it pre graded from Sovereign Rarities- and paid around the same price as what I’m offering it, I would like to get the same cash out of it.

My initial plan on purchasing was to break the slab, and send it to NGC for conservation and grading and as such, re-enter the 69/ 70 lottery!

Although I haven’t any evidence I think, judging by the serial number it was graded without conservation- likely a bulk submission by a dealer? and I think the issues can be sorted by NCS, and therefore a sporting chance of an NGC PF70. Ultra Cameo

If it doesn’t sell- I’ll likely go with this plan.

Any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
