Who are the best dealers to buy scrap silver?

Ok, so we all know who are the best companies to buy our silver from, but at some time most of us will want to sell our stacks. So which dealers are out there, who give the best prices, especially for scrap silver.

Has anyone sold anything recently to a dealer and got a good price. I know there are a few in the Birmingham jewellry area, but these companies seem to come and go, and I never know who is currently in business or not .

What kind of silver have you got to sell? Just scrap 925 etc?

nothing to sell at the moment, well not until silver goes to the moon, but it's always handy to have an idea where to shift your stack when the time comes.

eBay is still an option as after fees you can get a few percent below spot minimum.

But I'm building up a nice stack of 925 cutlery and flatware. I'm finding the spread between buying and selling (if you are on the ball) is a little better than with coins.

I have used the Birmingham Silver Company quite a few times without any problems.

Technically, alcohol is a solution..

'It [socialism] poses a growing threat, however unintentional, to the freedom of this country, for there is no freedom where the State totally controls the economy. Personal freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t lose one without losing the other.'

Let not England forget her precedence of teaching nations how to live, and It's  Britannia, with one t and two n's.

Ok, I'm always looking to buy sterling and .999 silver as I melt it down and make products out of them. Let me know if you'd like to sell some and we can sort a deal! :)
