How do people make their own silver rounds?

what equipment do i need to create the rounds and the design? 

should i buy silver blank 1oz rounds?

anyone have experience making their own silver rounds? I want to make my own coins / mini series as a side business.

If I were to follow this route I would get a design made up and create a spec then send it off to a mint to get some samples.

You'd effectively be 'private labeling' which is pretty common for all kinds of products from dog food to bathroom suites, whilst I've not done it with pms a quick look around

Im pretty sure the original poster is asking about minting their own rounds/coins to be like actual minted coins, very different to poured silver 🙂
