2016 Commemorative Pandas.  I do collect the silver ones when I can get them at a reasonable price but they always seem to be crazy expensive for what they are.  Decided to splash out a little on this set as it commemorates 120 years of the Shenyang Mint.

I removed the lid but kept the hinges on.  Just need a nice family photo to complete the display.

Boxes for my Lunar type sets from 0.5 to 10oz.  Time to get them all boxed up and packed away.  I might even remove the hinge and lid to a couple of them so I can have them stood up on display.  Notability the Horse and Tiger as they are the birth years for my kids.

$5 Indian Head from HGM.  Didn't think I would get it as I took so long looking up the stats to work out the % over spot since HGM no longer display it.  I missed out on the $2.5 a week or 2 ago for the same reason.

Comes with red packet.  Included full sovereign to give you an idea of the size of the pieces.

Been wanting to pick up the 1oz Griffin for a couple of weeks.  Was going to pickup from Chards but that didn't happen.  Was going to buy from Bairds but then RMB had a sale.  Worked out a little cheaper than from Bairds and with a screw capsule as well.  Rehoused in a ringed cap to go in the coin box with the others.

Some more pointless rounds for my collection and I've also joined the "slabbed club."  I can see why having graded coins is so popular.  The slab adds that extra bit of "prestige" to it.

I couldn't find the bullion grade Isle of Man Angel anywhere apart from the US.  Govmint was the cheapest but it wouldn't let me checkout so I went and bought it from MCM at a slightly higher price.  It has just come through and the literature and Cert of Auth are from GovMint.  Looks like they are the distributor for this coin.

2014 5oz Proof Panda.  The capsule has a small crack because someone at the mint didn't screw it down.  They just placed it ontop but unlike normal capsules, these need to be twisted to lock.

I don't have any of the 1oz to compare although I do have some on order.  From what I've seen, they have a very small diameter.

I didn't realise the Howling Wolf would come in a seal assay card.  I should have known the Taku would since the Kiwi did.
All importantly, I got another bag of gummy bears with the silver purchases above.

A couple of pics showing it's packaging and size.  The only thing is it's blister packed so you can't actually open it with damage.  Most of you guys wouldn't dream of handling silver directly so it doesn't matter that much.

Btw. Fiji's are 2012 and 2013.  It's a shame they don't change the design.

After months of searching I have managed to finally acquire a 1oz Gold Ukrainian Archangel Michael for a fairly reasonable premium.  Came in Mint capsule but I've rehoused it.
