Ok, ...so far I have been arguing against fractional gold, basically anything less than a full sovereign. But I could not resist this - tiny 2005 Aussie coin, 1/25th oz, but I think a tiny price. £41.50 all in. Check it out - let me know what you think. I like the actual nugget, instead of a skippy...

I managed to grab about 27 ounces while it was at the bottom. Chuffed about that. Wishing it would stay down a bit longer as I need to grab some more stuff to be delivered to my new address. So if we could please have one more big dip in about 2 weeks time, that would be lovely!

Yup - looks like I blinked and missed the Au Ag bottom, with only a single sovereign purchased in last 2 weeks....and now painful to see it at £775+ again. I regret not getting the 1 oz lunar horse from Goldline when it was about £773, now it's over £800 again. Sometimes you have to tune out though and use £ for normal stuff instead!!! I made some share purchases recently, but mainly high yield stocks where I am not looking for high capital growth. All good. Think we will see some re-testing of the lows before the year ends! as the technical traders live by the charts, so there will always be another chance to buy. In the meantime - I may buy some bulbs for the garden...

I haven't bought much since the change in postage at STG. People keep on phoning me up to sell old bottles of whisky, I keep buying them and thats messing with my ability to save enough for an optimum order.

I was happy enough to get the Victoria crown for pretty much spot price as it's such a beautiful coin
so I was happy to help her out with with sovereign;  Maybe the wreath coin is my reward lol.

Tube of 25 1oz Libertads, plus a tube of 20 1oz Eagles. All from STG. Love both coins, prefer them to the Britannia. Jealous of that tombstone though! Should be stacking, but I need to get the Libertad 2 and 5 oz to complete the set.
