  1. Trade deal agreed with @Arne - Both posting out tomorrow 😊
  2. hahaha I was sure the conspiracy theorists were gonna save this! Surely they are carry a small bag of silver/gold to bribe the pilot of the plane to get them out of dodge when the Zombie apocalypse starts!
  3. TY. Just needed some reassurance. The little pessimistic voice in my head is always there casting doubt!
  4. So this is to all those I’ve done business with before or to very established members with lots of feedback! Wanting to trade the following for a modern 1oz gold Britannia (2021 onwards) I have for trade 1 x 2020 Double Sovereign in VERY good condition 1 x 1913 Full George Sovereign in reasonable condition (good lustre) 2 x 2024 1/4 Carded Sovereigns 1 x 2022 1/2 Memorial Sovereign 1 x 1g RM Best Wishes Bar Total pure gold weight 30.289g And yes I know I could sell these at probably more than the 1oz but I’m lazy!
  5. No! Send it back and ask for a replacement or a refund. Sent mine back for less and asked for my money back. Won’t be buying another proof coin from the RM
  6. I’d be pissed being Amanda or Sarah. Quite a leap in salary to the next best paid!
  7. In comparison to previous listings this isn’t actually that bad!
  8. Just got a 2009 Brit and can’t help but think the portrait is very flat looking. Is this a case of RM original finish, handled coin or something more suspect? Weight and size check out but thought I’d ask u experts! 2003 portrait to show some portrait in the same lighting conditions 2nd coin the details just pop
  9. I swear u we’re gonna show off a quintuple 🤣 Silver does seem to wear quickly. Lovely fidget piece to have
  10. Honestly not sure! Ive collected different year 1oz Britannias because it’s something I wanted to do! Are they worth it? I buy second hand so the open market dictates the price, so yes my second hand Britannias are worth it! Are RM new coins worth it? Some are, some aren’t but the 20% VAT & are RM premium for me often means no! My first ever purchase a 10oz bull of Clarence bought during a RM reduction for £300 is worth around £250 now. I think it will be a long time till it’s worth what I paid. Dont get me wrong, some silver RM coins will do well but I think these are rare instances and not the norm. Some RM gold bullion prices I think are good and in the future should definitely be worth more but this is mainly due to gold price increase rather than numismatic value. The recent G&D coins are a good example of a silver and gold RM coin being well received & attracting really good secondary market value. Just my 2 cents and worth noting I’m only 4 months into all of this!
  11. Looking more like gold than the last time I saw this coin! Glws
  12. Only if I needed the year, although I did pick up a horse edge privy, trident privy, oriental border, proof 2009 (full set) and the 2015 plain along the way! 🤣
  13. Speaking of which, this is in the post to me at the moment! 3rd coin in my new run! 1/0th proof Britannias! 🤦🏻‍♂️
  14. Only got it as I needed a 2015 for the date run and didn’t mind paying a bit more for a coin that’s normally closer to 3 figures! Your plain field quest is safe from me!
  15. Out of all the designs the 2015 bunc is possibly my fave. Haven’t got one yet so can’t say for sure! At the mo it’s the chariot design of those I have that is my fave
  16. Very similar and I guess the BUNC will be sealed on card. Not sure what other differences there will be
  17. Yeah it was just an auction that was badly worded and ended at an odd time. I think I just got really lucky
  18. Yeah. Normally carries a hefty premium! Picked this up for £38!
