Cool, thanks. Quick question, if I find a good deal online (like the aforementioned kilo bars for 5 cents per ounce above spot), can I post a link to where I found it out here, and if so, where?

Seriously? Below spot? How do I find that?!
I've been searching online, best I've been able to get is 1 kilo bars at 5 cents per ounce above spot, though they just went up and are now 20 cents per ounce above spot. Grabbed two kilos at the better price. I'm guessing the Buy/Sell section is where I need to look?

Howdy, just got into this whole silver thing about a month ago, totally hooked already, been reading and watching Youtube videos non stop trying to learn all I can. Looks like I found a good forum, already got some help. Used to look for Opals in Australia about 30 years ago, got totally addicted to that, guess treasure hunting is part of my personality. Hope I don't ask too many dumb questions. I got a little over a 100 ounces of silver so far, and a couple handfuls of coins, looks like I found something to keep me busy for the next decade or two.

HoyaGuru got a reaction from silvergaga in Found cheap silver online, under spot price!
Hi folks, new out here. hope I'm doing this right. Been searching for the last month for silver close to spot, best I could find was between $2.50 to almost $4.00 above spot per ounce.
That is, until I finally found a good deal, 1 kilo bars for 5 cents above spot per ounce, free shipping, and no tax. The price is changing constantly, and as I am writing this it is 2 cents BELOW spot per ounce.
Try this: https://tinyurl.com/2w975j96
Hopefully it doesn't go up too high before some of you can take advantage of it. Ships from Apmex, but it is cheaper than if you look the exact same item up on their website.

HoyaGuru got a reaction from stefffana in Total newbie, question about grading silver coin.
Hi folk, just signed up. Started getting into silver about a month ago, I've bought about 100 ounces so far. Mentioned to my Mom that I was doing this, she said she has some silver from my Grandfather who passed away in 1974. She sent them to me, there are a bunch of half dollars, quarters, the usual, and three silver dollars, a 1921, 1924, and 1889. All three of them are in really good shape, and I've been considering sending them to be graded. The 1889 looks perfect to me, I've been comparing it to pics online from PCGS, the same coin others have had graded, and I think this coin is better than anything I've seen. But, I'm a realist, I'm just dipping a toe into this hobby, and I'm guessing everybody thinks they have the perfect coin when they start out. Can I post a picture or two out here, and get some opinions? If this is not a forum for something like this, I apologize, just let me know and I won't post anything like this again.

Those deals get snapped up - I would urge you to consider upgrading to a silver paid membership;
then you will see such deals immediately, not 3 days later when (sold) but visible as 'completed' to your current member group 👍
Welcome to TSF.

Buy sell section is where you need to look, though you wont be able to see new listings till 3 days after they are posted as a free member. You'll need to upgrade to one of the premium memberships first to get instant access to all listings. From what I have seen its usually auctions and some sterling silver listings going below spot,but you need to be quick to pounce on them.

No expert, but considering the usual life of coins like this, these look great to me. Must have spent a lot of time hidden down the side of someone’s settee!😮🤔

OK, here they are. Sorry, my phone's camera isn't the best in the world. Worst think I can see is some very fine scratches, but I've seen pretty high graded coins with worse.
