Lovely coins but spot has fallen and you can get a best value sovereign for under £375 from most dealers (including postage)

Final bump for non-members - The Kurush now below spot with gold rising from midweek-dip

I have this nice little 1746 "Lima" silver sixpence. Seems in excellent condition and probably gradable? Nice story to it too - these were made from silver captured by Admiral Anson from a galleon near Manilla. The Spanish used to sail a fleet from the silver mines in Potosi, Peru, across the Pacific in an annual Spanish silver fleet. Anson brought back so many pieces of eight from the successful raid that they decided to mint special sixpences with "Lima" on them to celebrate the Naval victory!
