It's really nice to meet you all (virtually) I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the festive season.
I started coin collecting this year, date runs and commemoratives, before quickly adding silver Britannia coins ... Oh no it's getting dangerous. So I've put on my skis in preparation for the slippery slope and joined what I've heard is a great community. 
I am hoping to trade, buy and learn a lot, so please bear with me as I find feet and get to grips with my new found obsession erm I mean hobby!

Welcome, I'm new myself but I've found every one very helpful. Only get what you can afford and never buy if there's a chance you might have to sell in the short term. Try to use it as a mid to long term purchase. My brother found it hard to save so he used to buy a few ounce's on a monthly basis. It was harder to get tempted to spend his wages on pizza's once it was in silver and after a while he had a nice amount. With a good £ cost average. Try not to get tempted by high premium priced coins. Always have an eye on how you would sell if you needed to, in order to get your cash back should you need it.
