  1. The digital pound is just another fiat currency, like the plastic pound, no change whatsoever here.
  2. £1601, a new all time high price in the UK will happen this year 2023. Once our recession really kicks in, during the summer.
  3. I agree with happypanda88, if it is the Royal Mint coins you are referring to.
  4. I would estimate about £420 for the 24 on this forum. Unless you have a full set of the 12 x 1/2 oz series II Perth Mint lunars. I think you could get £275 for those 12 only. More if they were in a presentation box. If you have any missing ones in the 12, I can probably help you fill the gaps.
  5. Can I have the bag please. What is the cheapest price Mr Ghost?

It is still monopoly money eh! Try changing 1 of these when you are on holiday to Turkey.
  7. The dealers have had this coin for months now. I got mine on 11/12/22.

When CBDC is introduced this year in the UK, all of the high street banks that we know don't have a job any more. They don't deserve to have jobs the way they are treating their customers. TSF has the formula for customer service down to a fine art. We have a real community spirit here which our authorities won't like.

An old friend of mine who died recently, decided he wanted to take his nest egg out of the bank. It was £30000. He had to go to the bank 6 days in a row, to get £5000 when we had a bank in this town. How would it have been on a bank run? Like we had in 2008 with the Building Societies. Because they told him £30k was too much for The Clydesdale Bank to handle at one time. What!!!??? And that was only 5 years ago here in Aberdeenshire. Wait till the bail- ins happen here like Cyprus, and they give us permission to take £100 a day out of an ATM, when we still have £85k "safe" in our A/C eh.

    Random Rant

When we put our money into our bank I am sure the bank thinks it is theirs and not ours. They say they are trying to protect our money from our own foolishness. I am sick of all of their security hoops we have to jump through. I can't access my money half the time I want to, because I need to borrow my wife's mobile phone for 6 digit pass numbers to get into my own account, before I can do any transaction. The bank has 20 questions every time I try to spend anything. I just ignore them all and always click on moving money to another account of mine. They recently split my credit card, from my bank account, so that the 2 are no longer linked. I need an app to operate my creditcard. I don't have a mobile phone, I have a landline and the bank can't send a 6 digit number text to a landline. They don't give a terrible about their customers. Only our money. God help us when the digital pound arrives later this year. Up here in the North of Scotland, we don't even have mobile bank vans in lots of our towns. Cash, silver and gold is needed to keep our freedom. That's my rant, idiots run the banks and idiots run the country. Thanks Bogart for setting me off on this one.
  11. Is it gold? It looks really good to me.
  12. Me too, TSF have great bargains, most of the time. I am from Aberdeenshire and I do like Guiness too, but I prefer it in Ireland out of the tap.
  13. I think most people in the PM field seem to buy when the price is going up. Some of us seem to know it's best to buy when the price is low or on offer. Gold/Silver ratio at 85 tells me to buy silver at the moment. Soon the ratio will be 30 and the gold price will be $3000, be patient my friend, you will have the last laugh.
  14. Hi AGuy, welcome to our wee club. Good hunting.
  15. Nikkitta is probably a bot eh!
  16. What a week we have had in the UK this first week in February. 2 World records in the same week. 1) An all time high in the UK gold price of £1592 per oz. 2) An all time high in the Mafia's Casino, ie a FTSE all time high. Looks like the battle is on, the people versus the money printers. Who will win this war? Come on the PEOPLE!

    Price

It sure is, I think we will see a lot of these this month eh!
  18. This is the scam I was on about yesterday, if you open the link from kevjustkev you will see that you can buy 6 bullion coins for £495 and they will put them in a box for you. Granny and Grandpa might think this will be a good investment for the grandchildren and buy them a set each out of the 999 mintage. Ha ha eh!
  19. I think it might be Personal Message batida.
  20. Any National Mint should be included ie China, Pandas etc. South African Krugers for sure, don't know about Royal Mint at the moment, I don't think they would get into the Club right now due to poor quality. eh! They are trying to sell a world set of 6 bullion coins, 999 mintage for £495 a set ie £82,50 a coin in a box. What a rip off.
  21. Rob, I have a little John left over to, from the Robin Hood set I sold recently.
  22. I do have 2 of them and they are typical Royal Mint bullion quality, but the Robin Hood series was popular with the British public, if you have one they sell quickly around the £100 mark!
