Today I received my 2013 1 kilo Silver Proof Year of the Snake (SII) which I purchased from Talisman Coins. It was my first purchase ever from the company. Although it took a little longer to receive than I am used to,  I am completely satisfied and happy with the coin, and I think it was a steal at $1399 US. When I had some initial concerns about how long my order was taking to process, the company representative was very professional and allayed my concerns by responding to my e-mail promptly with a phonecall. I would definitely use this company again (but for an item that is low in stock on their website inventory I would recommend  first calling the company to verify the current stock supply and estimated time of delivery) . Today I received my 2013 1 oz Gold Proof Libertad  (mintage 400) . Very disappointed with the coin.Bought from APMEX. Although it wasn't a graded coin, it has very obvious wear in all three mirror/table fields ..almost looks as if there are numerous scratches in every direction and someone tried to very unsuccessfully buff them away. I am not a real stickler, but I cannot believe that they actually sent me this coin. Paid $1700+US. Definitely going back...So I am out the expense of my original wire fee, and shipping and handling (both ways} per their return policy ($100+).To add insult to injury, the FEDEX delivery guy demanded that import duty $268 be paid before he would leave the coin with my building's concierge (bullion products are meant to be duty-free here in Canada)...think I will stick to ordering direct from the mint products from APMEX from now on. That said, my 1 kilo 2013 Proof-like Libertad was flawless , and my 2008 1 oz Gold Proof Libertad only has a few minor hairline scratches, so maybe it's hit or miss with this company and their "Quality control". Anyone else have similar experience(s) with APMEX?   Cheers, Luker

2013 1 oz Gold Mexican Libertad - Proof from APMEX...hefty 35% premium at $1727.30 US plus S and H and bank wire fee , but I figure that the low mintage of just 400 makes up for it. (Key Date is 2005 at 250 ).
Will post photo of this along with my 2008 1 oz gold proof when the 2013  arrives.
 
 
p.s. the 2008 did have a few "hairline" scratches , but I kept it anyway
