  1. We'll know In 8 months time when the first pictures of them in hand start to appear 🤣
  2. Well the tail is a bit long and the ears a bit short for a rabbit..... I don't know what to compare it to but James reckons a lion so 🤷‍♂️
  3. Strangest bunny rabbit I've ever seen 🤣🤣🤣 We need a side by side now for comparison lol
  4. Tbf... Royal Mint's own stock pictures never really make anything look that good but in the flesh a lot are much much better. Hopefully this is one of those lol
  5. The first image I've seen.... not sold on it tbh but the bullion will look better imo
  6. Thanks.... yes it is beaut coin and could be a contender for my favourite design. Agreed .... but since its the very first silver britannia it has a uniqueness to it and there are subtle differences between this one and the later years with the same design. No date run could be without it either. If it was the only year to have this design then I think it would easily be my favourite.
  7. Nah..... a real dip is more like £50-£100. That's when all the dealers have a "temporary glitch in the system" and go offline 🤣🤣
  8. Thanks for the confirmation mucker.... I have been looking around just incase but didn't think there were 👍
  9. Also just to add.... I don't think they did a bullion version of these so I have the very beginning of a date run should I chose to go that route!
  10. So today I received this 4 coin 1997 silver Britannia set. This is the very first year that silver Brittania coins were minted and were minted not in .999 fine silver, nor in .925 sterling silver...... but in .958 Britannia silver. I only found this out after acquiring a 1/10th gold proof 1997 coin and in my usual habit I felt the compulsion to pair it with the 1oz silver equivalent so here I am with a full set lol. These were not a sell out at the mint so numbers are drastically down on what could've been minted. I've put some pictures of final mintages for the curious. There's some natural toning but other than that there's not a milk spot, a scratch or a finger mark to be seen so toying with the idea of @GoldDiggerDave service again. Should i let them keep their natural patina or get them back to shiny again.... decisions decisions 🤔
  11. They are incredibly detailed for a coin roughly the size of a 20p. A beautiful set to have if you can find one. I Appreciate the sentiment mucker. I'd love another one eventually. These already are like hens teeth now.
  12. Just found my old sales post for it.... only had it for a few months so about July - August release would've been about right.
  13. I had a silver set as well about then. It was an stonker of a set. Wish I kept it but sold it for a good cause so can't be too disappointed.
  14. I'm pretty sure @GoldDiggerDave had a graded set at one point he'd be the one to ask
  15. They were all dated 2021 as well https://www.royalmint.com/our-coins/ranges/queens-beasts/2021-uk-quarter-ounce-gold-proof-ten-coin-set/
  16. There were a 1/4oz reverse gold set in the queen's beasts when the series ended. I feel these will probably go the same way because there aren't any for the tudor beasts yet
  17. And no party poppers in sight...... very nice haul mate 👍
  18. Today from Silver Trader.... The Ching Shih and the Mary Read 1oz silver coins to complete the unexpected set of pirate queens I started at the beginning of the week. They've always looked good in the pictures and videos I've seen while eyeing them for the last year or so now but in the flesh.... much much nicer.
