  1. If anyone has a gold 1oz Lynx version of this coin that they want to sell, please let me know, Gracias. 🌞
  2. I love understated subtle little pieces 🌞
  3. So this piece of wood looks a little bit like it has antlers, 🌈 I realise that it does not belong in this section, because technically I received it yesterday, but you know, quite fun I thought. Also if Richard Attenburgh asks, I did not get it from the park, I had it already.
  4. By the power of Greyskull 😛
  5. What about this coin, the bit that got me is the description: 1823 Two Pound George IV Gold double sovereign. Previously part of a pendant hence the obvious markings, this does not effect the value in any way https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134169163260?hash=item1f3d1af5fc:g:U3QAAOSwrs5iyrjx
  6. Very nice indeed, I love old & foreign, especially American coins, really nice.
  7. Literally seconds away from buying that USA gold $20, what a nice big impressive looking coin 🧐
  8. Yes that makes sense to me, it certainly looks like a proof version in some respects and a bullion version in others, quite interesting I thought. Many thnaks.
  9. Yes I looked it up online and some people have a 2014 BU sovereign advertised as a mule version, with one side normal bullion and one side proof, so I wondered if that was what this was, even though it is a double sovereign, not a single sovereign. Anyway I have not had one before I think, so it is interesting and new for me. Is it, well I will have to try and find and have a look at that topic 🙂
  10. I received this the other day, it's a 2014 Brilliant Uncirculated Double Sovereign. I think that it is an interesting coin because one side looks like a proof version and the other side does not, it is not an exciting design or anything, but it is quite pretty. I have tried to get a good picture of both sides, the Queens head looks just like a regular bullion version, and the other side looks like a proof version to me.
  11. Just looked online on eBay, they seem to be going for £1 - £2 minimum, so looks unlikely to me that the post office will have any, but I will ask on the off chance this week 🌞
  12. Alright cheers bud, I will report back if I have any luck in the week, you never know.
  13. I just wondered why I had not come across any of them in the real world, like in any shops or anything, but people are using cards alot more now and maybe working from home abit more. I will keep my eyes peeled in the shops and go into the Post Office this week to ask, what's it called, just a Platinum Jubilee 70 years 50p or something, will they know that is?
  14. Nicely done, well they sometimes send me to the Post Office for work and I go there when I need to post things, god bless them, but I will try and make a special effort to pop in and see them, when it looks quiet, so as not to upset the long line of people. Otherwise I will have to try and get a gold one, and they are very expensive, god bless it.
  15. Is that why I haven't seen any in any of the shops that I go into. Well I will try and pop into the Post Office this week, do you just ask them if they have any on the off chance? I will pop in when it looks quiet and chance my luck, I dont know why but I started collecting the interesting ones for some reason.
  16. I have a little fifty pence collection, I have not managed to get one of these ones from this year though yet, I will keep my eyes peeled. Are they rare or anything like that, or just new(ish)?
  17. I received this today, it is a 1937 double sovereign, clearly the condition is not the best, it is polished and worn so the detail is not that great, to be fair, I have never had one of these before, in any size, so for me it is an interesting coin.
  18. Yeah so Alright cheers good buddy, so approx 1/3 thicker than a normal Krugerrand, that sounds about right. A nice big chunky coin, I will have to save up a little bit.
  19. No, I can't work out how to do it, is it sumthing to do with maths or sumthink? 😢 I divided the weight by the diameter and vice versa, but do not seem to be able to get the thickness, even when knowing the thickness if the normal Krugerrand I cannot work it out... Doh!
  20. I would love to try and get a nice 2 ounce coin, you know, just as an example 🙂. It says it has got a 40mm diameter, does that mean that it is alot thicker, or about the same as a normal Krugerrand, do you know approx, I only ask out of interest as I do like the size and thickness of a normal Krugerrand?
  21. I would really love to buy some nice big good quality gold nuggets, they look so super, awesome sauce... 🤪
  22. sorry, listed in wrong place.
