We've seen a huge downward shift in premiums. Sovereigns only selling below spot or at a push, at spot. Ounces only selling significantly below spot, like 97%. Only things enjoying a premium are 1/10 oz and smaller but these are not flying. Sovereigns still seem to be king as long as they are priced right. But as this new level for gold settles in, if it does, these premiums (premia?) are surely not sustainable

I have for sale a large volume of pre 1947 coins, all .500 silver. Halfcrowns, florins, shillings, sixpences and threepences. Mix of grades but generally on the good side. Very few holed, damaged or poor grades. Selling at 34.5p per gram including postage. Spot is 35.6p. Total of several kg. If you buy it all it will be 34p per gram. I will pick out any dates you need, charging only postage extra. Exceptions are key dates which will be priced appropriately.

I am currently compiling a new order from my supplier for the very popular Aztec calendar coins. 5oz and 2oz copper always fly out so plenty of them. 5oz silver also always hot. Silver spot however has jumped up more than 10% since last order and this means 5oz will land at about £149 whereas previously I've been able to sell at £130 so quite a jump. Just a post to enquire whether there would be interest in 2oz silver at £60 and 5oz silver at £149? Jot your no-obligation (but honestly, would buy one at that price) interest here.
