Excellent customer from HGM, shout out to Jodie for the very professional way my order/complaint was handled. Bought a newly minted coin that had a couple of obvious knocks, had a very polite email conversation that went back and forth (time was put into the issue) and ended up with a very satisfactory resolution. The price of the original purchase was extremely competitive also.

Some fantastic deals to be had, but you better be quick - got my first 50 peso from HGM at a few % over spot. Very happy!

An ok place for a cheap bit of gold. I have used and would use again. The customer service was ok/good. But whilst your in Hatton Garden check out Bairds & Co shop. Their prices are similar, their stores are not. ;)

They also sold me some gold online, only to tell me a day later that they did not have any gold and refunded my money back, by which time gold was significantly higher in price. Was not happy. I would only buy in house from now on.

I have been a regular at HGM for the last couple of years.  I buy bullion Sovereigns from any era and have always been impressed with the quality of the coins.  Coins are described on the HGM website as 'Bullion' or 'Better than bullion', and I always go for better than bullion and have not once been disappointed.  I have received from really nice coins - one Gillick that I suspect would grade as MS65.

One good thing to note is that when buying from HGM, you receive text messages from the Royal Mail informing you when your coins were received, and when they will be delivered - handy if you are not always at home.
