Hi everyone,

I originally found this forum via Numistacker's videos. Like so many others I started in the stacker end (early 2009), but fell off the narrow path of stacking bullion some years ago. So now I'm thrashing about in the collector marshlands like so many others. Currently my primary interest is less common sovereigns and less common coins of the Latin Monetary Union. But I'm more eclectic than focused. Nice coins interest me, regardless of country. Older poured silver bars are also nice.

First purchase ever was a 1 kilo silver bar over the counter at the local branch of my bank sometime late 80-ties. They don't do that anymore, at least not in Sweden. Latest purchase was a 2017 BU sovereign earlier today (yes, I participated in the frenzy :-) I love the design and I think it will go well with an 1817 that I found half a year ago. But this was an exception for me, as usually the modern coins somehow do not have quite the same appeal as coins that have been around for a hundred years.
