I buy a limited amount of semi numi silver and a couple of proofs but think I will be sticking with bullion only when it comes to silver.

Is toning bad? All silver tones surely that's one of the reasons why I prefer gold

how do you store them?  I store my silver in intercept guard zip lock bags.  Every coin tube is individually ziplocked in one of those.  Then I put them together with others in a lock n lock tub which does not have rubber seals(which promote tarnish) and add a silica gel sachet and an anti tarnish strip in the box.  Might not help but it's what I figure I can do as a basic and pretty cheap attempt at prevention.  I have one of those Rwanda silver proofs and am a bit worried about it.  Not sure if the capsule was sealed at the mint as I've heard or not But I certainly haven't opened it.  I have considered going down the extreme argon solution road which is actually not that difficult.  The only worry is that the type of disposable argon tanks we can buy easily may actually not be pure enough and might contain a tiny bit of the dreaded sulphur.  Anyone know about this?

I have been storing my silver coins in their cases n I have been advised that this would help to tone the coins as the cases are made with glue and a particular plastic insert, also to use camphor. Well this has been true to form some of my silver coins have gone all toned so I have taken all silver coins and stored them with their certs away from boxes. Also I now use camphor with the coins stored away in wooden trays in nice wooden boxes. I will store the original coin boxes so they don't get damp.
