wanted 5 Tola Rothschild or Johnson Matthey Gold bar

Hi @James32

My plan for world domination has a core strategy of majority ownership of the 5 Tola market. So far it’s going ok.

I am a collector , not a trader. I have hundreds of pieces , some great, some not so great. A couple outstanding . These fit comfortably for me in the ‘great’ section. That’s why I jumped & secured. Whilst I recognise that everything has a price, and I have sold 2 items at very significant prices, I believe I got two great pieces for a good price & good value for my collection.

I might sell, but if I bought one day, sold theee days later to make £x  I might be regarded as a ‘flipper’ . I am not and sone sell to me because they know or believe or are persuaded that their valued item will be cherished by a collector. That is the case here I think .

I am in no sense a flipper & don’t want that though I trade with flippers when there is a piece I want . But who on TSF will sell me one of the three coins I really want if the evidence suggests I might not own them for > a week if the price is right

I hear what your saying, but was referring to the older one you had. No worries though.

I like to buy the pre-dip dip
