Astonishingly when this dealer questioned the Royal Mint regarding the problem of ubiquitous milk spots on Silver Britannias, the mint denied this was a problem at all. That the number of reported issues is less than 1% and that all discussions on the topic on places like TSF and YouTube was not born out by the data. (Denial isn’t just a river in Egypt it seems). 🤯🤯🤯
Maybe more complaints are needed, but I think people now just expect milky Brit’s

How long will they take us as mugs? Yes bullion is bullion.. but the RCM have proved this issue can be resolved and prices kept competitive. No more silver Brit’s for me. The arrogance is astounding!

They honestly don't know or want to know.

It's a real shame.

More and more every week I feel disconnected and disappointed with the Royal Mint.

Considering I have been a weathered champion defending the good things they have done in the past I am getting to the point of just not caring any more.

Speaks volumes about our national mint

You should reach out to these guys to share notes.they work with a good sides importer.  Truely shocking the ‘finger in ears bubble’.
‘we have no problem… but we’ve noticed sales have dropped off. ‘🤯 living in fairy land.

I have reached out to the mint a number of times to get some clarity on things like their coin prices for just basic old coins and have heard nothing.

I am up to 9 parts on my "Royally screwed" series on YouTube where I show horrible coins at horrible prices.

They just don't care.

Yeah I’ve seen the videos, you pose a great argument. Was more meaning reaching out to the Bullion Now guys. They have been very critical in a similar constructive manner as you have been… with similar results and are very active on YouTube  …Plus other figures in the wholesale, retail and consumer/social media environment.
It’s clear the mint don’t want to know atm  and your efforts to change it have been very welcome. Distributors and dealers but above all, individual retail customers need to complain. Clearly it’s a purely data led organisation. Quantitive rather than qualitative (insane in itself) .. that ‘negative feedback’ number needs to rise above the <1% they quote

Why would authorised dealers not complain about QC as much as is probably warranted? If the mint can’t understand this they need a better data analysis team.

They couldn't care less.

Equally I couldn't care less if they folded overnight. Good riddance.
