Purchased the new pro with the additional Wands etc. absolutely phenomenal piece of equipment! Highly recommended.

Thinking of purchasing one of these. Which one is best for coins...sovs, britannias etc. Is the basic model good enough or one of the pro versions more appropriate?

Hi cjbcomm, the basic model is ok, it compares to a scratch acid test. The mini pro, investor and pro version s have a specific gravity test as well as deeper reading s than the original. The mini pro needs an iPad/phone/device to connect to, the investor is very similar to the mini pro but has a built in screen, the pro is twice the size and has the option of adding an external bridge for the bigger bars.
