Enameled Art on Silver 😮

i recall a thread from a few years ago where colourised Queens Beast coins were presented. I am not a big fan of colourised coins, indeed this is something i would point out to newbies to steer clear of colourised coins if you plan to resell b/c the general community is not keen on them. In the case of the Queens Beast coins, they did look quite stunning and gained approval of quite a number of members. i tried to dig out that thread but was unsuccessful in finding it - as i say it was quite a few years ago now.

Having said i am not keen on colourised coins, i do have some colourised coins myself - i have a full set of the Perth Dragon coins i bought off the forum. i think if the right coin is colourised it can work as i think it does with the dragon coins. It is like antiqued coins, it can bring out the beauty and details which is lost on the basic silver coin.

Always cast your vote - Spoil your ballot slip. Put 'Spoilt Ballot - I do not consent.' These votes are counted. If you do not do this you are consenting to the tyranny. None of them are fit for purpose.
A tyranny relies on propaganda and force. Once the propaganda fails all that's left is force.

The example given by the OP of the PAMP bar is a beautiful bar. i think it enhances the bar. The colours work together and are subtle.

On the other hand the effect can be cartoonish and not to my taste. i see the PAMP bar is by DP Silver Art. https://www.facebook.com/dpsilverart

On the homepage of this Facebook channel is this example. The antiqued bar is borderline to me. Features on the coin are brought out but but i prefer the plain bar. The colourised bar is one i would avoid. It is too much - the colours too strong - it looks cartoonish to me.

Love my enamel art. I use DP silver art here in the uk and also Castronomic silver In the usa. Those that know me know bullion silver bores me so enameled along side my vintage stack is a nice alternative

Quite a collection! Very striking…. wherever you have them displayed I bet they make a heck of a talking point!🤔😮
