The watch winds and runs and has had the crystal replaced. The mechanism is firmly in place but the hinge is missing a part. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Yes it is. The lady I sold it to had purchased it for her husband, but she returned it because the button on the crown was "stuck". It's not actually stuck. It's just hard to press it because it has worn down from the use over the years.

I know nothing about watches,but is that something that could be easily/cheaply fixed with a service?

I'm not sure what it would cost to have that repaired. The lady that returned it said she took it to watch repair shop and they gave her a very high quote.
